Senior Accounting Manager [Philippines]

What you'll focus on
Global Accounting Operations
  • Oversee general ledger processes across multiple entities
  • Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP
  • Implement and enforce accounting policies and alignment across the group
External Audit & Statutory Reporting
  • Lead end-to-end audit preparation and coordination with Big 4 firms
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting across all jurisdictions
  • Manage audit schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication
Controls & Compliance
  • Build and strengthen internal controls, reconciliations, and approval workflows
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across local GAAPs, IFRS, and tax/reporting requirements
  • Identify and mitigate accounting risks in collaboration with Finance and Legal
Process Improvement & System Leadership
  • Establish accounting processes for new entities and business models
  • Collaborate with Finance Systems/IT to improve ERP functionality and automation
  • Act as the finance lead in system upgrades or integrations
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants (onshore/offshore)
  • Partner with FP&A, tax, operations, and business teams to ensure financial accuracy
  • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement
What you bring
  • 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including global close ownership and external audit coordination
  • CPA certification is required (CA, ACCA also acceptable); additional certifications like CMA, CIA, or an MBA are a plus
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, and familiarity with regional standards (PH GAAP, SG FRS, US GAAP)
  • Expertise in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Xero
  • Strong leadership experience in fast-scaling, cross-border or startup environments
  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach and a strong compliance mindset
